Thistle Affair '23

The Thistle Affair is the premier, annual fundraising event for the San Angelo Performing Arts Center. Established in 2019, the Thistle Affair is centered around providing exceptionally, unique and fun experiences while promoting awareness of the vibrant performing arts ecosystem in San Angelo and the Concho Valley.

San Angelo is home to a growing performing arts scene and San Angelo PAC is the home for many LIVE performances. As the only independent, non-profit performing arts center in West Texas, we rely on the generous support of private donors, businesses, and the City to help us provide state-of-the-art facilities to local, national, and international artists; program diverse cultural and educational experiences; and, enrich the quality of life for the people who live in our community.

This year, we plan to create another memorable experience with a vintage hangar dance at Skyline Aviation. The event will feature the swingin big band tunes of the West Texas Jazz Orchestra, dancers from Abilene Christian University's Swing Kats, a delicious dinner catered by Peasant Village, and perhaps even a vintage aircraft from a regional Commemorative Air Force squadron.

We invite you to hit the dance floor, enjoy great food, delight in amazing music, and celebrate everything wonderful about the performing arts in the Concho Valley.
