Is there wheelchair seating in your theaters?

Yes, we have wheelchair seating in the Murphey Performance Hall, Brooks and Bates Theatre, and Be Theatre's Black Box Theatre. Please call the box office at 325-285-3825 for assistance. 

Is there elevator access to the balcony in the Murphey Performance Hall?

There is no elevator or accessibility access to the balcony in the Murphey Performance Hall. However, we do offer accessibility seating in the first floor orchestra section. These seats are marked as such on the seating map when purchasing tickets.

What are your box office hours?

Tuesday through Friday, 10am-6pm

Do you offer refunds on ticket purchases?

There are no refunds on tickets after they have been purhcased.

Patrons may exchange ticket(s) for the same show if there is more than one performance. (For example, Be Theatre, SABA, and BSA have more than one performance per show.)  Due to various pricing for touring shows and special events, we are not able to exchange or offer credit for different shows. 

The good news is, if you are not able to use your ticket(s), we can donate unused tickets to local organizations which serve underserved communities.

What are your box office hours on performance days?

On performance days, our box office will close approximately two hours early to accommodate for prep time for our staff. The box office will reopen an hour prior to the scheduled start of the show in the venue where the performance will take place in. 

Is there a box office open at the Murphey Performance Hall & Stage and the Stephens Performing Arts Center?

While we have two box offices at these two locations, we are only open for regular hours at the Stephens Performing Arts Center located at 82 Gillis Street. The Murphey Performance Hall & Stage box office, located at 72 West College Street, will only be open on scheduled performance days one hour prior to the start of the show. 

I lost/ never got my print-at-home tickets. How can I re-receive them?

If you never received or lost your print-at-home tickets you can call the box office at 325-284-3825 and a staff member can resend them. You can also log in to your account on our website and access your pdf tickets there as well. Additionally, a staff member can reprint your tickets at the box office window no earlier than one hour prior to start of show. Just bring your confirmation number.

Where are you located?

Our main building (The San Angelo Performing Arts Center) which houses our 301 Brooks and Bates Theatre, Ballet San Angelos studios, and Be Theatres Black Box are all located at 82 Gillis Steet, San Angelo, TX 76903. We also host events at the Elta Joyce Murphey Hall located at 72 W College Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903.
